In 1953, Jean-Louis Domecq designed a lamp adapted to his professional needs: good lighting, simple, robust, without cables in the connections which was certainly revolutionary at the time. The lamps are still handmade with the original tools in the workshops of Saint Priest, in the suburbs of Lyon, France. Each lamp from the Jieldé collection is provided with an individual identification number.
